AFA : Wa-loli Test

I haven't been cosplay-ing or wearing sub-cultural for a few years.

Been still catching up bits and pieces though.

School always clashes with the AFA/EOY etc schedule so I normally will just give it a miss instead.

This year is different, I graduated! SO I GOT TIME to spare!!!

Gonna dress up in wa-loli with a friend, Katie.

The wa-loli have been in the cupboard for years and I have never wore it since I got it *self stabs*

Wa-loli, or wa lolita, combines Japanese traditional costumes (Yukata/Kimono) with Lolita. 

Anyway, I took a few photos testing out wearing the wa-loli.

Probably wearing them together with black knee length socks and my geta :D

Really do love my plain purple wall. 

Would love to have a ring light too ><

Hello people.

I know I haven't been blogging for awhile, like a week or plus. 

Just looking at the blog hits drop is so saddening.

I am currently working, as an intern incase you do not know.

The working hours is from 11am to 7pm, I normally leave after 7pm though.

It's tiring, I do love the place though, just that I am still not much used to working hours?

By the end I reached home I am so exhausted that sometimes I do not even want to use the computer.

My only free times were Saturday and Sundays, which I spend it catching up with Friends and Family instead.

I know I neglected the blog but NOOO, I am not abandoning it!

I will try as much to blog, and when people tell me they read my blog,

I am really, really happy and appreciated it!

I do have a chunk of posts that I wanna blog about, and the list is just getting longer and longer thanks to me.

I have finally finish blogging on Genting, sorry Nuffnang ><

and there's lots more to go, and yes

BIG BANG, I need to blog about them.

I actually drafted out the post? It's just photo-less right now.

I got a few hauls posts to do up too. 

Not forgetting gatherings and events that I have went.

Hello, I am not blogging much recently, school is going crazy, but I am at the final last week of my school.

yes, I AM GRADUATING!!

I am real happy and exhausted from all the stress and getting irritated easily.

There will be so much to do after graduating and I will be blogging more!

Yeah, that's kinder surprise that Jake got me from Australia, with the original packing that I really miss.

It's different in Singapore after all, you can only find kinder joy now, which is quite boring.

It's not the same anymore.

Don't ask me how I link, but yeah I manage to do it.

Somehow, I realise, I was no longer in the mood to "chase" any "idols" stuffs anymore.
I didn't even turn the TV on today for MAMA even though I was at home throughout, I guess somehow I grew out of it.
BUT, yeah I still do enjoy videos, shows, dramas and clips, they are just entertainment for me while resting and when I am bored.

Not the same as last time anymore.

Rendering

"Just read an article on Aardman Animation's new Christmas CG Feature "Arthur Christmas". Some frames took 20-30 hours to render! So 1 second could have taken a month to render.... that is if you're using 1 machine.... :P "

This is what my lecturer posted on our FMS DVFX group, and now I am curious in reading that article.

BUT!!!!

It's crazy!!! To take 20-30 hours to render some frames? OMFG. Thanks god they invented batch render, render farm, THOUGH it still took damn long for them to render.
All the polygons and quality stuffs for them to render.

For those not in media/film/animation related industry.
1 Frame is like erm, a frame. A single still, no movement, nothing.
1 sec is like 24/25 frames. Though there are till 50/60 and the newer ones 72, depending on the quality, format etc.etc.
so, 1 minute is like 24/25 * 60
1 hour is 24/25* 60 * 60 and if they takes 20-30 hours to render.
That's estimated,
24 * 60 * 60 * 25?



OMFG



The craziness of rendering. It already kills me when one single frame takes minutes to render, imagine hours. O.M.G
