Finally, F1.

Overdue post of F1, Day 01. 2012.
Better late than nothing :X

I know the post is late.
BUT. HOORAY. I am finally at F1.

F1 had been in Singapore for a few years but I never had the chance, nor the money to actually attend it.
This year was lucky, I managed to get in with the company I am working with!!!
It's really nice of them to offer to bring me to visit the area.

Dramatic, like I mentioned before, I fell there, quite badly actually.
I wasn't very much in pain but more from embarrassment.
I actually sat on the floor for at least 10minutes or so I think.
The sudden shock numbed my legs and my old injury, poor knee ligament, swell again.
Till today, it haven't sub yet, but kinda know why.

Anyway, here are the photos from F1.
It's loud, crazy, fun and YES EXCITING.
I was already HIGH when I exited the MRT station.
Hearing the loud engines going VROOOOM.

Please bring me back again next year.

I don't know where I pluck up the courage to do so, but yes I took this photo alone.
Actually walked up to the crew and asked for a photo to be taken.

I was alone at that point of time. Did it again after Elena arrived.
Incase you are wondering, Elena is my current colleague. Real talented girl here as a Illustrator.
Check out her work here >> http://ellustrate.net/

I don't have great photos, but nevertheless, the experience being there was awesome.
There wasn't races during day 01 for F1, but practices and the Porsche Carrera Cup

It was pouring afterwards so we didn't really walked much.
(This was before Elena arrived)

I think I looked funny like this, it's like being in a large rubbish bag.
I seriously swear that there were people who cut holes into the black rubbish bag and used them as poncho.

And then, there was F1, forget about good photos.
I went there with only the 550D and the kit lens, plus lots of Diana F+ lens which I didn't use.

Here's the GIF again.

The clearer photos were taken from Elena's.

Didn't attend any of the concerts/performances though. Would love to watch Jay Chou live, not that I am crazy over him or what, but the experience will be great.
Then again, what is there to complain when I actually get to visit the place itself, and watch the car vroom by.

and here's a unglam funny photo of me sitting on the floor while waiting for the medic to arrive.
Elena make me take that.

L O L. can't explain the irony of this photo -.-

and headed towards McDonald's to eat my first meal of the day @ 6pm while waiting for Vicki to meet me.

I am such a troublesome kid.
Thanks Elena, really appreciated much!!!
If she wasn't there with me, I will most probably be crying and feel real bad and lost and everything else.

F1. sneak and GIF

F1 is here in Singapore right now!!!
Tomorrow's the final~~~
For the past few years I have never went to a single match, not to say visit the site.
This year I got a little lucky, thanks to the company I am working in right now, I managed to go!!!

I was there around 3pm on the first day (Friday), strolled around alone before meeting up with boss.

Dramatic stuffs happened too since I slipped and fell and couldn't stood up as my leg went numb from the impact.
I was shocked from the fall too, and start feeling a little giddy and seeing black spots. Ended up vomiting too.
Leg is alright, just limping, but it's the old injured knee that I fell on so I am a little worried but everything else is alright.
Blood pressure a little swaying from the impact but am rest well so am recovering.
Basically, I was such a drama queen.
Was really thankful to those that helped me, especially colleague, Elena, who was there throughout the whole thing. I felt real bad, really.

Here are some GIFs. will do up another post when I get photos from Elena and edit mine.
For now, please imagine the VROOOOOOMMMM

ELECTRIC SHOCK

JULY 16 2011, SATURDAY NIGHT, 11.50pm-ish

I JUST GOT THE FIRST ELECTRIC SHOCK IN MY LIFE.
okay, at least it's aint the serious kind, otherwise I will be either dead or fainted, so I won't be able to type this.

It's a minor one, but it seriously still FREAKED ME OUT badly. REAL BADLY.

I was trying to off the switch for my FAN, you know, always turn it off when you are not using, as electricity get leaks and there are cases where houses got fire because of it.

AND, I was the damn victim.
I haven't even manage to switch it off, I felt the current going through the tips of my finger through my entire right hand.
It actually went all the way up to the arm. GRR

Good thing I remove my hand immediately, otherwise I can't imagine what will happen.
It's like, phew, lucky it was just a switch, what if I was actually holding on to something?
Will I have let go off it in time?

so, the tips of my finger got this, stinging pain and numb feeling.
while the entire hand felt numb for awhile, but it wears off.
Now, the entire hand is just super duper weak.
I can totally feel the big difference between both of my hands.

My finger actually went a little red at one side, I was thinking whether it will start bleeding or smething?

I hope this stupid strength-less feeling and stinging pain at the finger tips will go off soon :(
It's so irritating, and somehow I can bear the pain more then the hand with no strength :(
