Pretty nails with Blinking Style

[sponsored]

I always love painting my nails and having manicure/pedicure session so I can't exclaim how happy I was to be able to get my nails done thanks to
BLINKING STYLE and StreetDirectory!

Blinking Style is located at One-North (circle line).

Blinking Style
Fusionopolis (Connexis Tower)
#B1-21, 1 Fusionopolis Way
+65 6463 9195
http://www.blinkingstyle.com/

Fusionopolis is really convenient as the exit for One North Mrt just lies at the basement of the building!
I worked there so it's really convenient for me!

Though the shop might be a little small but it's really cozy!
The two petite manicurists there are friendly too.

I liked how the layout are done, plus the comfy sofa for you to sit in!

They have a huge range of nail polishes and gelish for you to choose!

The price range from (after discounts)
$10.40 - $12 for Express Manicure/Pedicure
$22.40 - $30.40 for Classic Manicure/Pedicure
$54.40 - $62.40 for Gelish Manicure/Pedicure

There are also add-on services from
Nail Repair to Callus Remove to Quick Dry and so on.

They also have packages that you can choose from and you will save at least 10% from it!
Isn't it more worthy?

The designs are really cute too!
Different designs are available for a different price, so let your manicurist knows what you like!

I really like pastel colors so I chose a simple but cute design instead!

My nails were nicely taken care of.
Nails were buffed and shaped, cuticles removed, polish patiently applied on.

The chair was so comfy that I almost dozed off!!

I chose Gelish as it tends to be more lasting as compared to normal nail polish!
Though it takes a longer time to process as UV lamp is needed to dry the polish.

Look who I spotted at the place too!!!
It's Eileen!!!

Here's the end results of my nail~
I really, really like the end product of my nails!!!
It's so pretttyyyyyy!!!!
She even added additional blings for me! I love blings!

With my manicurist!!

Head down to Blinking Style now :)

Purple Gradient Nails

Just last week after I got my first pay, I was attracted by the Etude House 1 for 1 nail polish sales.
This Juicy Cocktail Gradation nails set isn't included but I always wanted to get it.
I have one already, which is the silver one, and purple is my favorite color.

To be honest, I am not really much of a Etude House's nail polish fan cause it's a little hard to apply plus the end results not what I wanted.
However their gradation nails set are of a gel base thus it's real easy to apply and remove.
People always had a hard time removing glitters but this is alright.

(my hands)

I didn't actually just use the gradation nail set?
Added on some others to enhance it.

Used the other gradation set for more glitterish base, since their glitters and smaller.
Added more purple & silver glitters too.
Especially on that two nails without gradation effects.

People asked me how did I managed to get that effect.
It's actually real easy.
There's instructions behind the box.

Here are the colors of the others, I am very much tempted to actually collect them all.
I love glitters too.
Plus, I can also use them for my nail polish rings.

What do you think about my new nails?

There are heart shape glitter pieces with the nail lacquer.
How sweet and cute it will be!

I am like half the girl-y type of girl but I don't always put red and pink shades?
However they are really nice looking, hope it will look as great on the nails too.

Gelish Nails Day 0

Remember how last month my cousin brought me to help out her friend as a nail "model"?
Yep, I went back to help them again, this time helping them out with their new series of nail polish.

Nope, it's not NORMAL nail polish you see out there like OPI or CHINA GLAZE and etc?
It's
GELISH = Gel Polish.

Some people might not know what is GELISH.
You know what is Gel extension? It's the same concept, just that you don't sculpt it for this particular one.
You practically use it like a normal nail polish, and it last even longer than one.
Though, there are quite a few steps you need to take, and you still need to have lamp to help you cure your gel.

HOWEVER, though it takes longer to do up your nails? you get a longer lasting set of nails!
What's more, with gelish, you can even do crazy nail art patterns with it like any normal nail polishes!

Thanks to PRINA and Chelsea for asking me, I managed to try it while helping them as trail.
Today, is DAY 0, am gonna blog about it everyday, as much as possible, so people and I can keep track of the quality of the gelish that was used on my finger.

This is the set of gelish that they used on me.
Angel Pro Gellish Polish and they come in many different colors and shades, like I say, like any normal nail polishes you can find.

Curious how it turns out to be like?

Tadah, see!! Even with gelish you can get pretty nail arts, or cute nails art like mine right above!
Isn't it beautiful and cute?

The nails are shinning happily right now and I absolutely love it!

You know what the horror of using normal nail polishes?
I do not have the fans at home, so I practically can't do anything after I applied them on, even with the quickdry Top Coat that I bought.
The outer coat might have been dry but the inner hasn't.
So, if you are careless, you might chip the nail polishes off, or in normal cases, "holes" appears and you do not know what to do, either to apply new layer or just remove everything.
It makes it worse when you decorated everything.

Gelish might be new to people out there, you might not catch the steps easily, but PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!

Do not have a lot of photos since my hand is way too busy.
I really had fun looking at the process of my nails painted, and even taking photos of the nails for them.

I need to protect my fingers nicely, I seriously think that it's damn ugly, with all the lines and such?

Okay, I am here to tempt you.

Currently PRINA, a.k.a The PinkRoom Int'l Nail Academy, which is one of the few nail school in Singapore.
Not only they have classes to offer, they are selling the GELISH that they used on me!

Look at all the beautiful shades they have! Especially the pastel looking one, yummy.

Do not think this way,
" Oh, $15 only, sure fake one, outside they sell 30 plus 50 plus"

People, do you go "oh it's fakes one" when you see OPI on sales at $9 - $12 at flea market and etc?
No, you GRAB N GO.

So, why wait.

CRAZINESS & giftaway

Survive this post and the gift away is below.

I knew I was crazy over manicure/pedicure/nail polish, but I didn't know I actually have this much of "property" at home, which is increasing over time.

Took them for keep sake purpose, and it's one way for me to check which color and shades I have, so I won't get duplicates, AGAIN.

There are still people out there way crazier than me, but I wasn't expecting this from, myself.
Presenting you, Cookie's property of nail polishes.

nature republic x3
pa x3
pasar malam x4
O2 skin X3
MAC x4
pasar malam X3
sasa x2
tony moly x1
cineleisure x1
daiso x1
nature republic x1
I called the above, the "randoms"

missha x4 (in Singapore)
missha x3 (in Korea)
I still remember, the time when I went to Korea, I went crazy.
The missha nail polishes there were sold at 1,000 won each.
Which is roughly S$1 if you round up at that time, 2007?

With the exchange rate now, I think it would be S$1.30? or something.
IF, they still sell it at 1,000 won each.
It's still freaking cheap.

pasar malam x2
thailand x2 (cracks)
etude house x3
etude house x1 (cracks)
The two shattered/cracks bottle I bought from Thailand were the first two bottles of cracks I ever purchased.
It's cheap, and it really works.

Holika Holika X5

Holika Holika x6

I can't remember how much were those, but they are way cheaper than those sold in Singapore.
Precious got them for me in Korea since she is studying there.
So, I practically went crazy choosing.

China glaze x4 (cracks)
O.P.I muppets series x4
O.P.I top and base coat X3
O.P.I x1
O.P.I x2 shattered
I seriously think I misplaced 1 or 2 O.P.I and china glaze shattered, cause I remember having other colors.

Got these from smoochiezz. (both china glaze and O.P.I)

You know what's bad for the wallet?
1. Their warehouse is just at IMM area which is less than 30 mins away from my home.
2. They are having a space here at Jurong Point now, which is ONLY 5 MINUTES or lesser away from my home!

They are freaking cheap.
Like $8 - $10?
Their OPI costs from $8 for normal, $10 for shatter...
CHEAP OR WHAT.

Don't ask me about imitation or fakes.
Seriously speaking, I do not know.
The nail polishes works fine as any expensive/legally O.P.I/ China Glaze I ever tested outside.
To me, it's the same.

Anyway, I am getting more since it's just freaking opposite my house.
I love shattered and cracks, so mehs.

jurong point x5

jurong point x8

jurong point x6
Okay, the above 3 are what turned me crazy recently.
I got them off a cart shop @ Jurong Point.
They are only $1 each, LIKE SERIOUSLY CHEAP right?

Some people will comment on how cheap $1 nail polishes are lousy and such.
I tested, they are not!!!!!!!!
They are quite fine for $1 polishes, and am able to paint my nails with them, SMOOTHLY.
Which really makes it worth it?

Anyway, it's ONLY 1 BUCKS!

the entire family
So, the entire family of my nail polishes, but I doubt that I win Cally, cause she is crazier than me.

PS. To Eilly Tan if you are reading this, WHEN ARE YOU GONNA CME N SLEEP OVER SO WE CAN FULLY UTILIZE ALL OF THISSSSSS.
I will make sure I tweet you the link to this post so you can read it.

ANYWAY PEOPLE, I tends to buy duplicates.

So, here is the giftawayyyyyyyy!!!!

Am being extra nice, so postage included, for Local only (Singapore).

Kindly drop me a comment here or in my tagboard or my twitter or fb if you want them?
