Thanks to OpenRice.com & Estelle, I got to try some Thai food!!
Normally, I won't even walk in to a Thai restaurant or try Thai food since I don't eat spicy food.
The last time I went Thailand with my friends, we didn't even have a single proper Thai food there.
Wasted, I know.
People should be familiar with Porn's.

The setting there isn't like your normal Thai restaurants.
Quite quirky and modern.

What's Thai food without Tom Yum soup.
Surprising to me it wasn't too spicy, more of a sour taste instead.
I don't know how to describe the spiciness to it, but it's actually something I can take.
The $12.90 large portion is more than enough for a table 8.

This is something new to me.
I guess because it's chilli oil or something it is SPICY.
The coconut flavouring taste so damn good that I end up still finishing the entire bowl even though it's spicy.
(gulping down my glass of drink at the same time)
This is one soup that I will definitely recommend.

I didn't really eat this but tried a little for the taste.
I always think that Thai food are way too spicy for me, but they aren't.
It still spicy but not THAT spicy.
I end up eating the chicken pieces instead, love the texture.
It's not too hard, quite tender, so it's nice to bite.

I avoid after one mouth, not because it's disgusting or what, I am just avoiding the spiciness to it.
Stir-fried minced pork can never go wrong anyway.

Another spicy dish.
I think Kang Kong dishes are always spicy, even in Chinese food?
The leaves are hard to chew, so it's easily digestible.
Khao Pad Sapparod

Here's my favourite.
We started out with only one plate and ended up ordering more cause it's not enough for all of us.
I like the subtle sweet taste of the pineapple in the rice, and the raisins go so well with it too.
The rice isn't too dry thus making it really nice to eat it just alone, plus, there are like prawns and nuts to go with it.
The taste of it is really awesome.

Seafood Pad Thai, another common Thai dish.
To me it's like another common fried noodle actually,
but this is different from the normal chinese fried noodle I ate.

Oh-kay, it's deep fried so....
Anyway, it's really crunchy on the outside n not hard in the inside so it's just nice to bite.
Be careful though, some pieces are pure garlic. ><

I had the Lemongrass drink, which I ended up finishing while drinking the coconut soup.
The lemongrass taste isn't very strong but yet subtle enough for you to taste it.
It's really cooling and refreshing.

STICKY RICE!!!
Perfect dessert after meal.
I think I ended up aiming all the fruits instead.
I don't know what exact sauce they put on?
It's sweet and give a nice taste to the tasteless glutinous sticky rice,
which goes well with both the mango and durian.
Their mango real sweet too, not sour at all.
Basically, the food there are definitely nice and I really like the ambience to the place.
The people there are really nice too, and they smile a lot, which I think it's important in the service line.
It's great for people who stay in the West that want some nice Thai food.
A little pricey to me though, but the servings are big enough so it's not that bad.
