The Rotisserie.

[food review]

Thanks to Estelle I got to attend a food review at The Rotisserie.

This is the first time I woke up so early in the morning for an event, not to mention food review, cause it's BREAKFAST.

The Rotisserie

Opening Hours : Mon to Sun 7am to 10pm

Just a 5 - 10 minutes walk from Buona Vista MRT, The Rotisserie is a simple and quiet place suitable for breakfast or brunch.
(Not to mention near my working area)

I always find it hard to find breakfast or brunch place around me, and was real happy to be exposed to Rotisserie.
With my random craving for brunch, I can totally make my way down to Rotisserie even after sleeping in since they offer the breakfast menu till 5pm on weekends.

They specialise in Chicken and salad, but they do have other items like fish & chips, cakes and etc

I like the ambience of this place, it's just warmly done up.
Perfectly nice to lazy around on a weekend with a pot of tea, and a book.
Or perhaps I can head over there during weekends for a cup of Earl Grey Lavender and knit something.
Plus, they have outdoor seating for those who prefer.

We had breakfast and they are not just your omelette set or what, but mainly with bread/panini/croissant or even bagel.

BLT
(bacon, lettuce and tomato)
$7.00

This was what I ordered.
Bacon is my favourite, and I would love it even more if it's fried even longer.
The serving is quite big for a sandwich, and I had to end up using my hands instead otherwise the bread will just fall off.

Love the entire sandwich though.
What to say, I am a bacon lover.

The salad is way too "fresh" for me, too raw indeed.

Classic Panini
(Roasted Chicken, Bacon, Ham, Tomato, Lettuce, Cheddar Cheese & Mayonnaise)
$9.00

HuiYan's (http://chiamhuiy.blogspot.sg/) choice.
Chicken is Rotisserie speciality, thus definitely amazing.
Plus, they do give you big chunks of chicken meat and sufficient dressing and other ingredients.
Not to mention there's cheddar cheese to go with it.
I actually prefer this over my BLT.

Smoked Salmon Bagel with Cream Cheese
$8.00

Sochii's (kamiyarehauste.blogspot.com) and Estelle's choice.
I was aiming sochii's smoked salmon throughout.

It isn't bad.
However, do eat it straight when served, as it the bagel will turn a little hard from cutting after exposing to air and cooling down or something.
They ended up using their hands instead of cutting.

Smoked salmon actually does go well with cream cheese. Hmm..

There are a few other choices that I would like to try the next time.
Like :

Ham & Cheese Croissant
$7.00

Aussie Breakfast
Choice of Eggs:
Fried/ Sunny side up/ Scrambled / Omelette
Choice of Side:
Hashbrown/ Sausage/ Mushrooms/ Baked Beans/ Bacon/ Grilled Tomato
(served with toasted sour dough)
$12.00

Breakfast are served
Weekdays 7.30am to 10.30am
Weekdays 7.30am to 5.00pm

What's breakfast without tea or coffee.

Earl Grey Lavender Black Tea
$4.00

I always love Earl Grey, plus lavender just makes it better.

The serving at The Rotisserie is definitely worth the price,
plus the quality of food is good too.
I was very much full before I even finished my entire BLT.
I did not let the bacon go to a waste.

Was telling Cally that we should go over during one of the weekend, have brunch, and knit our day off with the Earl Grey Lavender or something.

Ending the post with some photos taken with the others.
