Simple recipe with OsteoMilk & OsteoSoy - Fruit smoothie

[sponsored advertorial]

Remember my blog post on OsteoMilk and OsteoSoy?

I said that I will be sharing some simple recipes, so here it is!

You might be wondering,
"Why don't I just use packeted milk?"
etc.

Not all milk have collagen, high in calcium and low in fat!
I am sure this is good for the body too. :)

This Fruit Smoothie I am sharing is really easy to do.
I googled, searched around the web and did some changes here and there.
Chose ingredients that are easy to find too.

Here are the ingredients I used.

1 Sachet of OsteoSoy or OsteoMilk
Sliced Fruits
1 Yoghurt.
Nata De Coco
Ice

Blender

(all of the above ingredients can be found in NTUC, even OsteoSoy/OsteoMilk)

I chose Pears and Apple for this recipe, but you can always switch to other fruits too.
One pear + One apple is enough.
Pear is good for the throat too, and apple for it's vitamins.

When I got sick with flu or cough, the doctor actually advice me not to eat any fruits, not even apple.
The only fruit I was able to eat was pear.
Recently, lots of people I know fell sick, with flu and cough, some even had bronchitis.

I used Meiji Yoghurt, it's my favourite.
Plus, it's only at $1, and normally NTUC has offers too.
There are a few different flavours, just choose the ones you like.
Try not to choose those that will clash with the fruits you are using though.

I love Nata De Coco, it's too add as an extra topping and taste.
You can always substitute with jelly or your favourite topping to taste.

Mix the sachet of OsteoSoy/OsteoMilk with water.
Remember! DO NOT USE HOT WATER, otherwise it will affect the collagen, and will turn lumpy too.

Simple, add all the ingredients into the blender (excluding the Nata De Coco or topping you chose)

I would like to suggest to add them bit by bit so it won't be too full.
It makes it easier to blend too.

It's also easier to control the amount of ice and fruits so that it won't overflow.

Blend till everything became smooth.

If it's too dry add more ICE, but I am sorry if it's too watery.
Thus, add them slowly and bits by bits.

Everyone have different taste too.
Personally, I prefer it to be a little more watery.

Add in the Nata De Coco or the topping you chose before pouring in the smoothie.

Didn't choose the flavoured Nata De Coco as I don't want all the flavours to clash.
I didn't add in the water/juice from the Nata De Coco packet though.
You may add or not, but if you do, do not add so much ice when you blend the other ingredients as it will be too watery.

Serve while chilled
ENJOY YOUR FRUITS SMOOTHIE :)

I had this after dinner, it's good for a good night drink or even for tea break.
Those who don't eat much for breakfast can even have this for breakfast, just add more fruits or something.

The above amount of ingredients used will ended up with a little more than one serving.

Here's a re-cap.
