Food review - Fika

This was something totally unplanned, haha.
The few of us went to this cafe for brunch during the ST Classified Fashion & IT showcase.
Shanice was craving for brunch, bacons wise, and we came upon this cafe @ Millenia Walk

Fika Swedish Cafe and Bistro

and yes, like the logo there,
it's Halal!!
So dear muslim friends, you can go there too!

I really like the ambience there, cozy and nice.

You can take a look at their menu here

They have set lunch special on weekdays, depending on branch and days, they are all different.

So, 4 bloggers there sitting together, with 3 of us, Kiyo, Shanice & I who love food so much,
we need to take photos, lots of photos.
It's quite amusing, cause all we did other than chatting and get to know each other, was spamming our cameras with lots of photos of the place and food.

Charlene (please tell me I got her name right) ordered this

Swedish Pancakes
Thin swedish pancake sprinkled with icing sugar, served with jam, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and a scoop of ice-cream.
$12.90

This is the sweet girl eating her pancake.

This is Kiyo's

Swedish Pannbiff
Swedish beef patties served with homemade creamy sauce, mashed potatoes, sauteed onions and lingonberry jam
$18.90

Kiyo taking photos of the food, blogger-habit. :x

Shanice and I got the same, cause I couldn't decide what I want and I can't eat beef.

Fika Big Breakfast Set
2 eggs (scrambled or sunny-side up)
Chicken sausages, sauteed potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, turkey bacon and turkey ham, Hard bread with butter topped with sliced cucmbers
Choice of Swedish blueberry or rosehip drink
All breakfast set includes regular coffee, fika breakfast tea or milk (add 80 cents for hot cocoa)
$18.80

The one word I can describe is AMAZING.
Love the bacon, though it's a little small (it's hidden under the bread in the photo)
Love the ham
Love the sausages especially
even the mushroom are amazing.
and I like how the bread is nicely toasted to get the crunchiness of it.

I give it a 4.5/5 for the bacon is too small for me :(

The swedish blueberry or rosehip drink is a little.... peculiar?
It smells and tasted like jam.
Jam drink or sort, the more watery version.

and a ending photo with the other bloggers
